Goshogun: The Time Étranger (English Subtitled) | Time Stranger (1985) | Sengoku Majin Goushougun: Toki no Ihoujin (Étranger) – Japanese Anime Cartoon

This film sequel is set forty years after the events of the GoShogun TV series. This is a very interesting film. It’s special to a mecha series, but you can easily watch it on its own. It actually seems it took a kind of a departure from the series and tells a serious story of struggle against angst, fate, and looming death.

Remy Shimada is on her way to a very important meeting: a reunion with the five teammates who, decades ago, made up the elite force known as Goshogun. However, Remy is running late, and after an encounter with fleeing bank robbers, she suffers heavy injuries, ending up in critical condition. Her former teammates gather at her deathbed trying to save her life; at the same time, she is confronted with her own inner struggles that she’s going to face in a strange desert world that may or may not come from her past adventures with the Goshogun team.
