女性人權博物館「阿嬤家」 AMA Museum features comfort women exhibit and art by victims of sexual violence—宏觀英語新聞

The Taipei Women’s Rescue Foundation has sought justice for Taiwan’s comfort women for many years. Last December, it inaugurated the AMA Museum, Taiwan’s first museum dedicated to female human rights. The museum formally opened to the public on International Women’s Day, and over 10,000 persons have visited the museum. The gallery features permanent exhibitions related to comfort women and also artwork and creative goods made by victims of sexual violence.

長期幫助前台籍慰安婦的婦女救援基金會，為了終止女性遭受暴力，獨立募資經營的台灣首座女性人權博物館”阿嬤家”，去年12月試營運後 正式開館，3個月來參觀人數已經累積破萬，未來除了慰安婦相關常設展以外，也會提供女性創業，以及展售創意商品的機會 。
