Commentator Alex Stein has reacted to the news of former President Donald Trump’s assassination attempt during a rally in Pennsylvania.
A 20-year-old gunman shot Trump in the ear during a failed assassination attempt during a rally in Butler Pennsylvania.
Mr Stein claimed that America was “one centimetre away from having a civil war” following the shooting on Saturday local time.
“If that bullet would have been two centimetres to the left or just any other direction it would have gone through his skull,” Mr Stein said.
“The deep state or the quote-on-quote people that want to make us made with each other would have gotten what they wanted because there would have been some sort of civil war.”
