Choi says he would like to encourage the audience with the song, “I Pray”. The song was written based on his difficult past in his early life. Choi says he would like to embrace the discouraged hearts through his song, “I Pray”, and he hopes everyone will feel comforted after listening to his song.
짧은 말로는 설명하기 어려울정도로 힘든 시절들을 겪어 왔던 최성봉이 가장 낮은 자리에서 건네는 위로의 메시지인 “I Pray”는 크고 작은 일들로 상심해있는 마음들을 감싸 안아주는 진정한 힐링송이다.
Choi refers to a quote in the song based on the Chinese idiom, 春來不似春(pronounced Chun Lai Bu Si Chun in Chinese) which means that although spring is arriving, it does not feel like spring when we are enshrouded in the cold and gloomy reality. This can be found in the lyrics below:
