一般社団法人東京国際金融機構（FinCity.Tokyo）は、2020年3月19日（木）に国際金融都市や資産運用をテーマとした国際シンポジウム「FinCity Global Forum ～資産運用と国際金融都市の目指す未来～」を開催しました。本イベントは、国際金融都市構想を推進する主体として2019年4月に設置された、官民連携プロモーション組織による、初めての国際シンポジウムとなります。昨今、国内の少子高齢化問題に加え、グローバル経済の先行き不透明感が強まる中、個人・機関投資家による資産運用の積極活用に関心が集まっています。本イベントでは、何故いま資産運用なのか、資産運用業界を高度化するために対処すべき課題は何か、資産運用の利活用を通じてどのような社会を目指すのか、関係当局・投資家・運用会社・上場企業等からオピニオンリーダーをお招きし、議論を行いました。
FinCity.Tokyo held an international symposium “FinCity Global Forum” on the theme of The Future of Asset Management and Tokyo as a Global Financial City” on Thursday, March 19, 2020. This event was the first international symposium by a public-private partnership promotion organization established in April 2019 as an entity that promotes the concept of global financial city. In recent years, in addition to the declining birthrate and aging population in Japan, the outlook for the global economy has become increasingly uncertain, and there is growing interest in the active utilization of asset management by individual and institutional investors. At this event, we discussed why asset management should now be discussed , what issues should be addressed in order to advance the asset management industry, what kind of society we will aim to achieve through the utilization of asset management. Opinion leaders were invited from listed companies, related authorities, investors, and management companies to have discussions.
