Next Scripts Social Network Auto Poster, or SNAP, is a plugin that automatically re-publishes blog posts to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Blogger, Tumblr, Delicious, Plurk, and other social media networks.
This is a service that is very valuable and there are many other programs out there that provide this service. However, most of them charge a monthly fee. Like Buffer, Hootsuite, et cetera. There are a number of plugins that you can use that will share to one or two of the major social media networks. However, SNAP is compatible with nearly all networks.
Unfortunately, there are many things wrong with the Next Scripts plugin and it doesn't work properly. Some of the main points are listed below.
Support is virtually non-existent
No way to check existing support tickets
Posts don't get sent when scheduled
Posts are often times not shared with social media
Posts share to incorrect accounts if you have multiple accounts
Scheduled WordPress posts don't stay connected with SNAP
When connecting multiple accounts, SNAP gets confused
The old post re-poster doesn't work properly
The bottom line is DON'T PURCHASE SNAP.
