This is "MegaZone 23 Part 1: SPECIAL MEMORY" (S10-1001) which was released as a promotional disc for the Japan-market-only Victor VHD video format. Released in 1985, this disc was given out with certain Victor VHD video player purchases to celebrate one of the most successful anime OVAs of the 1980's, MegaZone 21 (Part 1). Split into 7 parts, each part focuses on one of the songs from the anime. Some sequences feature live footage of singer & voice actress Kumi Miyasato who voiced Eve in the Anime while others consist of edited sequences from the anime itself. All in all, this disc is a diverse collection of 80's music, from ballads to synth-pop to hard rock, featuring some of the most memorable scenes from the first MegaZone 23 movie!
Some of the City Pop/Future Funk folks out there will probably like the sequence at 17:25!

Please note that due to the grooveless, electronically-tracked nature of the VHD/AHD format (along with the affinity of the discs to mold), it can be difficult to good recordings of these discs. This disc had very bad molding and was improperly cleaned leading to many of the drop-outs. Please excuse the many small audio & visual glitches that appear.
