Two men who thought they were only having "innocent fun" by driving on a major Tokyo expressway at night while sitting on the windows of their cars found law enforcement less amused by their antics.
The two drivers were among five people arrested on suspicion of jointly engaging in reckless driving earlier this year on the Metropolitan Expressway in Kawasaki.
According to police, the incident occurred at about 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 22.
Police said the two admitted to the crime, with one telling them, “I never thought this would get blown up into such a big deal.”
